 Had hand on this product found really nice. I am a developer. I will really like to hear if they have something similar to this which can search for words from database too.

I have not become totally fimilar with all of the features yet and the benefits of creating a searchable index. My next activity is to use PDF files as the target.  Not the best I found the application difficult to use.Getting started was not as straight forward as I would have thought and theinterface was not as intuitive as I would have liked.For example, specifying a folder field I would have thought would restrictthe search (or indexing and search) to that folder on the system.Instead the results are returned from the entire file structure on all available hard drives.I stopped using the application after about 15 minutes of trying to get it going.I am sure that I could work through the help and get better results given enough time, but ...

 Worst in class. Sorry, but the sleuthound is just totally useless.
It requires prescanning of all your. Pdf files into categories, only allows a single starting point, but does allow you to extend each category.
It cannot find even a single word of text or a numeric string (140. 00, 10. 00, etc.) in any .pdf document I have tried, and I have tried dozens.
It just never found anything I searched for.
In my opiniion, the sleuthhound is totally useless.
